She gave voice to the main characters and her male voices were well done. The narration was performed by Emma Wilder and she did a nice job with the stories. Overall this was a cute story, but a novella always leaves me wanting more.
There was some open-door romance, but it was a bit odd with Liam stating he didn’t enjoy sex, but apparently Mara cured him of that. I did like how the three friends still supported one another even though they were all over the world. I would have enjoyed hearing more about what Mara was doing and how they reconciled their two jobs. My one issue was that I really didn’t see a lot of the STEM aspect of the story. There was a lot of fun banter and the romance was cute. This is a fun story with lots of frustration on the characters part, making humor for the reader. The longer they live together, the more they get to know one another, and the more they get to know one another, the harder it is to detest them. She is just as adamant that she is going to stay and honour her mentor’s bequest. Liam plans to do whatever he can to drive Mara crazy, hopefully getting her to sell. Refusing to sell him her share, she moves in and they begin to cohabitate. Liam is a big-oil lawyer, completely opposite from what Mara stands for. When she arrives, she meets Liam, the other half-owner, who promptly offers to buy her out. She does not have a lot of money, so when she learns she has inherited half a house from her mentor, she plans on moving in. Mara is an environmental engineer, who is starting a new job.
